Authentic RADIUS Server

The RADIUS feature of the Switch allows the user to facilitate centralized user administration as well as providing protection
against a sniffing, active hacker. The Web Manager offers three windows.
To view this window, click Security > 802.1X > Authentic RADIUS Server, as shown below:
This window displays the following information:

Click Apply to implement changes made.

Description
Choose the desired RADIUS server to configure: First, Second or Third.
Set the RADIUS server IP.
Set the RADIUS authentic server(s) UDP port. The default port is 1812.
Set the RADIUS account server(s) UDP port. Tick Default to use the default UDP port in
the Accounting Port. The default port is 1813.
Set the key the same as that of the RADIUS server.
Confirm the shared key is the same as that of the RADIUS server.
Enter the timeout value in seconds (1 to 255). Tick Default to use the default time. The
default value is 5.
Set the count for retransmit(1 to 20). Tick Default to use the default re-transmit value. The
default value is 2.
This allows the user to set the RADIUS Server as Valid (Enabled) or Invalid (Disabled).
