Chapter 7: BIOS
Wait For 'F1' If Error
Select Enabled to force the system to wait until the 'F1' key is pressed if an error
occurs. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Interrupt 19 Capture
Interrupt 19 is the software interrupt that handles the boot disk function. When this
item is set to Enabled, the BIOS ROM of the host adaptors will "capture" Interrupt 19
at bootup and allow the drives that are attached to these host adaptors to function as
bootable disks. If this item is set to Disabled, the BIOS ROM of the host adaptors will
not capture Interrupt 19, and the drives attached to these adaptors will not function
as bootable devices. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Re-try Boot
If this item is enabled, the BIOS will automatically reboot the system from a
specified boot device after its initial boot failure. The options are Disabled, Legacy
Boot, and EFI Boot.
Power Configuration
Watch Dog Function
If enabled, the Watch Dog timer will allow the system to reboot when it is inactive
for more than 5 minutes. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Power Button Function
This feature controls how the system shuts down when the power button is pressed.
Select 4 Seconds Override for the user to power off the system after pressing and
holding the power button for 4 seconds or longer. Select Instant Off to instantly
power off the system as soon as the user presses the power button. The options
are Instant Off and 4 Seconds Override.
Restore on AC Power Loss
Use this feature to set the power state after a power outage. Select Power-Off for
the system power to remain off after a power loss. Select Power-On for the system
power to be turned on after a power loss. Select Last State to allow the system to
resume its last power state before a power loss. The options are Stay-Off, Power-On,
and Last State.
