service life of the fuser unit (the maintenance unit or the
printer) or printer power consumption. See

Example of one day sleep schedule:
The printer is set to immediately enter the sleep mode
during the time in shaded areas.
Example of one week sleep schedule:
Note:
❏ If Deep Sleep Mode is set to On (default), the
printer enters deep sleep mode and consumes less
power.
❏ The printer cannot enter the deep sleep mode under
the following conditions:
- MS Network in the Network Menu is set to Off
(default).
❏ The printer may not enter the deep sleep mode
immediately under the following conditions:
- A network communication has been planned to
start within a minute.
- Bonjour is set to On (default) and within 10
minutes after the printer has been turned on.
