Note:

Open the MP tray.

Extend the paper support of the MP tray.

Slide the paper guides to accommodate the paper
you are loading.
Note:
❏ Be sure to adjust the paper guides according
to the size of the paper you loaded to prevent
paper feed failures, paper jams or any other
errors.
❏ A4 and A5 size paper can be loaded in
portrait or landscape orientation.
Loading Paper

Load a stack of the desired paper with the
printable surface facing up.

Extend the paper support according to the size of
the paper to prevent the paper from slipping off
the printer.

Set the MP Type setting on the control panel to
match the type of paper loaded. For details, see
"Tray Menu" on page

Paper output settings

Output to the face-up tray

Note:
Make sure the face-up tray is installed and ready to use.
Without the face-up tray installed, selecting the face-up
tray as the output tray causes, the output paper to drops
from the paper exit for the tray on the back of the printer.
