C1 DM (Cassette 1, DM lever)

Slowly pull out cassette 1.

Remove jammed paper, if there is any.
C
Lower the lever of the duplex unit.

Remove jammed paper.
E
Raise the lever of the duplex unit steadily.

Insert cassette 1.
Troubleshooting

MP (MP tray)

A
Remove jammed paper from the MP tray.
B
Open cover A and then close it to clear the error.
C
Confirm that the paper size and the orientation
match the control panel settings.

C1 - C5 (Cassette 1 - 5)

These instructions use the standard paper cassette (C1)
as an example. Use the same procedure for optional
paper cassette (C2, C3, C4, C5 for AL-M8200/
AL-M8100 Series, or C2, C3, C4 for AL-M7100 Series).

Important:
Do not pull out two or more paper cassettes at the
same time. Doing so makes the printer unstable,
which may cause it to fall over.

Slowly open cassette 1 and remove jammed
paper.
B
Confirm that the paper size and orientation
match the control panel settings.
