Click [Firewall] on the session setting screen. Use this screen to block unwanted com-
munications. Set the screen according to application and system.

Session setting screen (IP filter)
Click [IP filter] on the session setting screen to show the IP filter setting screen. This
screen lets you prevent unwanted communications. Set the screen according to appli-
cation and system.
• Choose the method for obtaining IP address (Auto-
matic, Manual).
• If Manual is selected, enter the IP Address (IPv4 ad-
dress).
• Choose the method for obtaining the DNS server ad-
dress (Automatic, Manual).
• If Manual is selected, enter the address of the priority
DNS server (IPv4 address).
• If Manual is selected, enter the address of the Sec-
ondary DNS Server (IPv4 address).
Click to apply settings and return to the sessions setting
screen. During data connections, settings are reflected
after reconnection.
Click to restore previous settings and return to the ses-
sions setting screen.
Check to prohibit NBT and Microsoft-DS. The default setting is
"checked".
Disregard ping from WAN side. Place a [ ] to activate. The de-
fault setting is "checked".
Check [ ] to prohibit response to ping from WAN. Initial setting
is "checked".
Prohibit Windows-Update. Place a [ ] to activate. The default
setting is "checked".
Click to apply settings.
Click to restore previous settings.
