6.7. VOIP
The mobile computer supports VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) through connection to a
SIP server. VoIP transforms analog voice signals into digital data and transmits them over
the Internet in the form of data packets. This allows instant audio communication while
maintaining device portability.
Note: To use VoIP, first establish an Internet connection. See
6.7.1. LAUNCH VOIP
1) Tap Start Screen | Settings | Personal | VoIP
configuration tool.
The VoIP Configuration tool opens. When first launched, an empty page appears for you
to create a new profile.
