OVERHAUL OF FRONT CALIPER

• Unscrew pins (V2) from their seats (C) and remove
pads (D).

NOTE The brake pads can be removed and chan-
ged without having to disassemble the brake
calipers from the scooter.
• Undo screws (V2).

• Apply a low pressure jet of compressed air to the oil
way in which the brake fluid union was fitted in order
to cause the two plungers to be ejected from the brake
caliper body.
Excessive air pressure will result in exces-
sively violent ejection of the two plungers
(A).
