FRONT FORK
•
(Remove front fairing).
•
(Remove windshield).
•
(Remove upper fairing).
•
(Remove upper handlebar cover).
•
(Remove handlebar).
•
(Remove mudguard).
•
(Remove front brake caliper).
•
(Remove speedometer sensor).
•
(Remove front wheel).
Before disassembly, support the frame at
the centre to prevent the scooter from fal-
ling.
•
Sever all the electrical cable ties; to proceed with the
operation position the brake caliper and the brake line
to BEHIND the frame.
•
Undo and remove ring nut (A).
•
Undo and remove underlying ring nut (B).
•
Remove the fork assembly in a downward direction.
Support the fork to prevent them falling.
•
Pay attention because balls (C) may fall from their
races.
•
Clean away any grease, including the grease in the
ball races. Check for wear and renew if necessary.
•
Grease and refit.
Upper race: 22 balls (Ø 3/16")
Lower race: 19 balls (Ø 1/4")
