Cannot Find the Controller
Problem Description:
Cannot find the controller using the
Corrective Action:
Confirm that the user's workstation and the controller are properly
connected to the NetBIOS network. Make sure that the selected
workgroup name is correct. If the controller is out of the subnet on which
the user's workstation exists, enable access to the controller via NetBIOS
over TCP/IP by specifying the controller machine name and IP address in
the WINS server or lmhosts file in the user's workstation. Then try
entering the controller machine name directly in
Cannot Access TWAIN Folder
Problem Description:
Cannot access the \\<controller>\GL_TWAIN folder from Windows
Explorer.
Corrective Action:
This network folder contains Scan to TWAIN documents and can be
accessed only using the ipc1-TWAIN Driver.
TWAIN Driver Dialog Box Does Not Open
Problem Description:
Initiated the TWAIN image acquisition mode from an application, but the
ipc1-TWAIN Driver dialog box does not open.
Corrective Action:
The ipc1-TWAIN Driver dialog box may be hidden behind other windows.
Minimize all other windows. If you cannot find the dialog box, enable the
Show UI feature of the ipc1-TWAIN driver from the application. See the
scan Readme file for more detail.
