ID indicator (blue)
Lights up blue when the system has been selected by pressing the ID
button (7). To deactivate, press the button again. The ID indicator lights
up synchronously with the corresponding display on the rear of the
server.
The indicator can also be activated via ServerView and its status
reported to ServerView.

Reset button
RST
Pressing the Reset button with a pointed object (e.g. a paperclip)
restarts the system.

ID
The ID indicators on the front and rear of the server light up synchro-
nously when the ID button is pressed.

On/Off button
When the system is switched off, it can be switched on again by
pressing the On/Off button. When the system is in operation, it can be
switched off by pressing the On/Off button.

The On/Off button does not disconnect the server from the
mains voltage. To disconnect from the mains completely,
remove the power plug.

NMI button
NMI
Pressing the NMI button with a pointed object (e.g. a paperclip)
immediately shuts down the operating system.

Do not press! The NMI button may only be used by service
personnel.

Power-on indicator (dual color)
Lights up green when the server is switched ON.
Flashes green when the system is in standby mode.
Lights up amber when the server is in shutdown mode (operating
system shutdown) or is switched off.
