Serial Port x
Use these options to configure the serial ports (A/B/C/D).
1. Move the cursor to Serial Port x and press Enter.
2. Select the desired setting from the drop-down menu.
Disabled
Enabled
Auto
•
Disabled – no configuration
•
Enabled – user configuration
•
Auto – BIOS or OS chooses configuration
•
OS Controlled – Displayed when controlled by OS
Scanner Power (Port A/C)
This option sets the mode of the scanner power pin on COM 1 when
+12 V is present on pin 9.
1. Move the cursor to Scanner Power and press Enter.
2. Select the desired setting from the drop-down menu.

Auto – detect scanner device and turn power on if present
•
On – set power on at all times
•
Off – always leave power off
