Password Protection of the Administrator Settings

Password Protection
All Adminstrator Settings may be password
protected by a pin code consisting of up to
five digits.

order to gain access to the Adminstrator Set-

If you perform a major reset of your 150MXP
the password protection will cease to exist.
However, so does the rest of your setup as
well!
Consequently, a major reset is not a recom-
mendable way of bypassing the password, un-
less you know how to configure the unit – you
may end up incommunicado!
Reconfiguring the unit will not reinstall any
password pin code that existed before the
major reset was made!
To Clear an Existing Password

Log in the same way as when gaining
access to a password protected
Adminstrator Settings menu.

Navigate to the Security Settings menu,
in the same way as setting the password.

In the Adminstrator Password parameter
field, use the Cancel key to clear the
password and navigate down to the Save
icon to leave menu putting changes into
effect

Save
Exit by selecting Save to put changes into ef-
fect and Cancel to leave undoing any changes.

