Locking Out the Power Switch
Some maintenance and service procedures require locking out the On/Off switch to
ensure operator safety. When the switch is locked out it is impossible to supply power to
the printer.
Disconnect Device
The red AC power plug is the disconnect device for the Arizona T220UV printer. For
maximum safety, if the printer is moved or if any service or repair work is conducted,
the disconnect device must first be unplugged from the printer. To unplug it, first press
down on the release flange with your thumb. This flips up the safety cover, as indicated
in Figure 11 . Finally, pull the disconnect device out of its socket. Note that the vacuum
pump, which is separate from the printer, also use a dissconnect device that looks and
functions in a manner identical to the one on the printer.
