MAGNETOS
Ordinarily, the magnetos will require only occasional
adjustment, lubrication, and breaker point replacement.
This work should be done by a BEECHCRAFT Aero or
Aviation Center or International Distributor or
Dealer.
WARNING
To be safe, treat the magnetos as hot
whenever
a
switch lead is disconnected at any
point; they do not
have
an internal automatic
grounding device. The magnetos can be
grounded by replacing the switch lead
at
the
noise filter capacitor with a wire which is
grounded to the engine
case.
Otherwise, all
spark plug leads should be disconnected or the
cable
outlet plate on the rear of the magneto
should be removed
.
