Fax Receive Settings
Menu item
Purpose
Enable Fax Receive
Allows fax jobs to be received by the
MFP.
Rings to Answer
The MFP rings a set number of times
to indicate an incoming fax job.
Auto Reduction
Scales an incoming fax job so it fits the
size of the print media loaded in the
designated fax source. See Paper

Paper Source
Specifies the print media source
selected to supply print media for the
MFP to print an incoming fax.
Output Bin
Specifies the bin that receives the
printed fax once it is printed.
Duplex
Sets duplex printing (two-sided
printing) either on or off for incoming
fax jobs.
This menu item appears if an optional
duplex unit is installed or if the MFP
model has an internal duplex unit.
Fax Footer
Prints the transmission information at
the bottom of each page from a
received fax.

automatically selected by the MFP.
Tray <x> or the standard tray is the
specified print media source, where
<x> is the number of the tray.
The multipurpose feeder is the
specified print media source.
Tray <x>, which can be any optional
drawer, is the specified print media
source, where <x> is the number of
the tray in the drawer.
This menu item displays when at least
one optional output bin is installed.
The incoming fax is a duplex job.
The incoming fax is not a duplex job.
Select On to print the footer.
Select Off to prevent the footer from
printing.
