SpEEDOmETER / hOURmETER

(1).Speedometer.............(2).Hourmeter
The. speedmeter. operates. correctly.
when the specified tires with the cor-
rect. inflation. pressure. are. installed..
Refer. to. the. chapter. "Maintenance".
for the correct tire inflation pressure.
The.hourmeter.indicates.the.total.us-
age.time.of.the.vehicle.in.digits.
The. hourmeter. does. not. operate. if.
the. engine. is. stopped. even. though.
the. key. switch. is. in. the. "oN. ". posi-
tion.
Check. the. hourmeter. to. service. the.
vehicle.at.the.correct.interval.

This.indicates.the.remaining.fuel.lev-
el.after.the.key.switch.is.turned.to.the.
"oN".position..
F : Fuel is completely filled.
E.:.Replenish.the.fuel.tank.
If. driving. is. continued. with. the. nee-
dle.below.the.position."E",.the.warn-
ing.lamp.of.out.of.fuel(. .).turns.on..
If.the.vehicle.is.run.completely.out.of.
fuel,.it.may.be.hard.to.restart.the.en-
gine after refilling the fuel tank.
This.is.due.to.air.entered.into.the.fuel.
supply.system..In.this.case,.the.sys-
tem.should.be.bled..(For.details,.re-
fer. to.page.7-19."bleeding.fuel.sys-
tem".in.the.chapter."Maintenance".)
Make.sure.that.good.quality.fuel.is.

used,.poor.quality.fuel.can.cause.
damage.to.the.engine.
