The.headlamp.switch.can.be.operat-
ed.while.the.key.switch.is.in.the."oN".
position.then.head.lights,.tail.lights.(if.
equipped).and.dash.lights.come.on..
Turning on the headlamps for an ex-
tended.period.of.time.with.the.engine.
off.can.discharge.the.battery..
Driving with high beam head-

lights makes it difficult for the
driver of an on coming vehicle
to see. Use high beams only if
necessary.
