Installing the hard disk

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing" chapter).
Make the required settings (e.g. master setting) on the drive.
Remove the data and the power supply connector from the the hard disk drive (1), if necessary.
Handle the latch, fold open it in the direction of the arrow (1) and release it out of the anchor (2).

Handle both hooks (1) of the carrier and pull it out of the drive cage in the direction of the arrow.

Place the new hard disk on the bracket in the direction of the arrow, so that the guide pins of the
carrier slot into the holes of the hard disk.
