4.2.8 Registration/Timing Sensor Removal

This section describes how to remove the registration sensor and timing
sensor in the paper feed unit.
1. Remove the paper feed unit. (See Section 4.2.4.)
2. Remove the paper guide.
The fixing screws to be removed are:
· 2 screws:
From each of the right and left sides of the paper
guide
· 2 screws:
From each of the right and left sides of the paper
guide viewed from the top. (Remove them through
the holes on the top frame of the paper guide.)
3. Lift up the paper guide to release the cable from the hooks on the
paper guide, then remove the paper guide.
4. Remove the fixing screws securing the registration sensor and the
timing sensor, and remove the sensors.
