Manual Leapfrog Creatr
I have a STL file
A STL file is a file format that contains the 3D design of your file. If you have a STL file, you will need to
convert it to a printable file format called G-code. Below, the steps to do so are explained.
In the models section of the Simplify3D software click "Import". A pop-up will open to let you
browse for the STL file that you wish to print. You can always add another model to print them
both in the same print job. You can remove a model by selecting it and clicking "Remove".
When you have imported the model it will appear on the virtual print bed, i.e. the 3D display of
the software. You can move the model on the bed by holding Ctrl and the left mouse button so
that you can drag the model to the desired location. You can also click "Arrange" to have the
software automatically arrange your objects for you.
Once the model is loaded and in the correct place the process will need to be selected to
determine the settings for the print job. You can do so by clicking "Add" in the processes menu.
To remove a process you can select the process and click "Remove".
