Fuel filter. Draining
Open vent screw (1) on the filter mounting approx. 3
turns. Then undo the drain screw (2) a few turns. Let
any water in the filter run off into a container. Tighten
the screws.
IMPORTANT! Wait a few hours after the engine
has been turned off before draining the filter.
Fuel filter. Replacement
Clean the filter console and locate a container
underneath the filter. Remember to dispose of the old
filter at a proper disposal site.
1. Unscrew the filter. Check that the nipple (1) is
located securely in the filter mounting.
2. Moisten the new filter's rubber gasket with a little
fuel.
3. Screw on the new filter by hand until it is in contact
with the mating surface. And then a further half

turn but no more!
4. Bleed fuel system.
5. Start the engine and check for leaks.
WARNING! Approaching or working on a running
engine is dangerous. Watch out for rotating
components and hot surfaces.
Fuel pre-filter. Draining
Fuel pre-filters and water separators are accessories
and are available in two variants.
Position a container under the fuel filter. Drain off
water and contaminants using the cock/plug (1) at the
bottom of the glass.
IMPORTANT! Wait a few hours after the engine
has been turned off before draining the filter.
