Addition or Degradation of CMP/Memory
Modules
Degrading or adding CMP/memory modules is not supported.
Do not change the ILOM ioreconfigure parameter to a value other than "false".
Changing the parameter may cause the input path to be rebuilt, which may prevent
the Solaris OS from starting up. For more information on the ioreconfigure
parameter, see the Integrated Lights Out Manager 2.0 Supplement for SPARC Enterprise
T5440 Server.
If a CMP/memory module fails, the CMP/memory module must be replaced. It is
not possible to continue operation simply by degrading a faulty CMP/memory
module.
