Installing SMART software

To take full advantage of your interactive flat panel's features, you must download and install
SMART software on the room computer.
The purchase of your interactive flat panel includes a license for SMART Notebook software and a
one-year subscription to the SMART Notebook Advantage software maintenance plan. See
smarttech.com/notebook
TIP
You can also install SMART Notebook software from the DVD included with your interactive flat
panel.
To download and install SMART software
1. Go to smarttech.com/downloads.
2. Scroll to the SMART Notebook software section.
3. Click Choose a version, and then select the most recent version.
4. Click Download.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to save the installer to a temporary location.
6. Double-click the installer.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install SMART software.
