5-6 Points to Remember About Editing
5-6-4 Limitations When Editing
With MASTER as Player
Player IN and OUT points cannot be located in
different files.
When you execute an edit without setting an OUT
point, the edit ends automatically at the end point of
the player (MASTER) file. Continuous editing of
several files is not possible.
Multi-event editing
Events can be registered in different files, but a single
event cannot extend across different files.

5-6-5 Control of the Audio and
Video Recording Levels
During execution of an automatic edit, you can control
the audio recording level and video recording level by
rotating the REC and VIDEO knobs on the upper
control panel and the VIDEO knob on the subsidiary
control panel. The following table shows the knobs
employed, according to the device specification and
the signals controlled.
