Dual receive is active only when a sub chan-
nel is displayed; the
band or bands appear in the main and sub chan-
nel displays. Transmission is only possible on
the main channel, but both receivers can be set to
frequencies in the same band in any combination
preset volume and squelch levels and

Squelch silences background noise when no
