To store a frequency in memory:
Select the desired frequency (and repeater
split manually, if desired) in the VFO mode as
already described.
Hold (SM) %-second (until a second beep
sounds). The

Within five seconds of pressing (OM), turn the

already being used (stored with data), it will
be overwritten with new data in the next step.

stored into the memory (simply start again).
