DIAGNOSIS

FAULT DESCRIPTION
EEPROM communication error.
EEPROM checksum error.
UL A/D errors.
Model ID error.
Latch signal mismatch error.
Shorted key error.
Keytail unplugged.
Top oven sensor open.
Top oven sensor shorted.
Bake range over temperature.
Clean range over temperature.
Bottom oven sensor open.
Bottom oven sensor shorted.
Door switches do not agree.
Door latch not operating.
Refrigeration not operating
properly.
Power failure (not a failure mode).
• All units that have failed during the first few
days of use should be checked for loose
connections, or miswiring.
• All checks should be made with a meter
having a sensitivity of 20,000 ohms-per-volt,
or greater.
FIELD SERVICE ACTION
Replace control.
Replace control.
Replace control.
Reinsert keytail. If not corrected, replace control.
Replace control.
Replace keypad assembly.
Reinsert keytail.
Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be
1 KΩ to 1.1 KΩ @ room temperature. If not,
replace the sensor.
Check for shorted sensor circuit, otherwise
replace sensor.
At room temperature, sensor resistance should be
1 KΩ to 1.1 KΩ. If not, replace the sensor. If the
sensor checks okay, replace the control.

Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be
1 KΩ to 1.1 KΩ @ room temperature. If not,
replace the sensor.
Check for shorted sensor circuit, otherwise
replace sensor.
Check door switch. Contacts should be closed
when plunger is actuated. Check door switch
circuit for open.
Check that door switch is completely closed. Check
latch, solenoid, and actuation switch for electrical
or mechanical malfunction.
Check for open circuit between control and
refrigeration cooling module.
Do not replace control.
