REMOVING THE COOKTOP GLASS
AND THE DECORATIVE REAR PANEL
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
NOTE: Sharp edges may be present.
1. Unplug the refrigerated range or discon-
nect the power.
2. Remove the control panel from its
subchassis, (see page 4-2 for the proce-
dure), and position it forward.
3. Pull the refrigerated range away from the
wall so that you can access the rear of the
unit.
4. To remove the cooktop glass:
a) Remove the front and rear screws from
the left and right side trim.

b) Raise the cooktop and prop it up (see
steps 3 and 4 on page 4-5 for the
procedure).
c) Loosen the left and right tension bracket
screws and remove the brackets from
behind the side trim.
d) Remove the wire clip from the left side
trim.
e) Lower the cooktop.
f ) Pull the two side trim strips off the
cooktop.
