REMOVING THE COOLING MODULE

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
NOTE: Sharp edges may be present.
1.
Unplug the refrigerated range or discon-
nect the power.
2.
Remove the oven door from the range
(see page 4-20 for the procedure).
3.
Remove the indicated two screws from
the top of the kick panel.
4.
Lift the kick panel, unhook it from the lower
mounting brackets, and remove it.

NOTES:
• When you remove the cooling module in
the following steps, place a protective
covering on the floor to protect the finish.
• Remove any condensate from the sump
at the bottom of the cooling module to
prevent the water from spilling on the
floor.
5.
Disconnect the 3-wire connector from the
power supply and feature boards housing.
6.
Remove the two screws from the front of
the cooling module tray.
7.
Slide the cooling module forward, remove
it from the unit, and set the module on a
sturdy work surface.

REASSEMBLY NOTE: After installing the re-
frigeration module back in the unit, make sure
that the air outlet seal is properly seated and
not torn. Air leaks will reduce cooling efficiency.
