2. Battery systems
Assembling tray-type batteries
Proceed in inverse order for assembly
of tray-type batteries and note the fol-
lowing:
q Fasten plate (Fig. 1/9) with hex.
screws (I/7 and 10) and hex. nuts
(I/2) hand-tight
q Align seat console (I/1)
q Tighten hex. screws (I/7 and 10)

2.1.2 Compound batteries

Disassembling compound batteries
q Switch off key switch
q
Remove control key
q Engage parking brake of the
machine
q
Tilt seat console (I/1) upwards.
q Disconnect battery plug (I/11).
q Remove harness of the battery.
q
Remove holder (I/6) with battery
cable and let it overhand at position
(I/3).
q
Remove battery.
Assembling compound batteries
Proceed in inverse order for assembly
of compound batteries.
Remove or place the compound batte-
ries by means of a lifting device only.
