3.1.4 Display elements

A Key switch
(on/off) turns the electri-
cal system ON/OFF and
protects the machine
against unauthorized use;
moreover, it holds the hourmeter di-
splay. With the switch in OFF position,
all control functions are reset to the in-
itial state.
B Horn button
actuates the electric
horn.

C Direction selector
(forward/reverse)
selects the travel drive di-
rection.
Forward switch position = forward ride
Central switch position = neutral
Reverse switch position = reverse ride
Before changing direction, slow down
machine with service brake, then se-
lect and restart.
D Option
(buzzer/warning light) or
searchlight switches
buzzer or warning light on
and off as well as the se-
archlight. This function is also availa-
ble without key switch (warning
light/searchlight optionally)
E Pilot lamp
(red) for max. filling level
in soiled water tank
alights if the max. filling
level is attained in the so-
iled water tank. A floater (VII/7) swit-
ches the suction turbine off.
F Pilot lamp
(red) for parking brake
alights if the parking bra-
ke pedal (V/1) is actuated
G Pilot lamp
(red) for fault display
alights in case of one of
the following faults
occurring:
- thermal switch of the brush motor or
the drive motor has responded
- one of the fuses is defective or one of
the electronic circuit-breakers has
tripped
- other faults
