GENERATING UNIT
Even if the OPERATION light (blue) does not fl ash, it is recommended to carry
out the cleaning once every 6 months.

Remove the louver.
Hold the main unit with a hand and then pull out the louver.

Remove the cleaning brush.
Remove the cleaning brush attached to the main unit.

Clean up the needle electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion
Generating Unit.
Remove the dust from the needle electrode with using the cleaning
brush.

If the OPERATION light fl ashes immediately again even if cleaning up the needle
electrode, the dust may be left, clean up the needle electrode repeatedly. If the
OPERATION light is still fl ashing, the exchange of Plasmacluster Ion Generating
Unit may be needed. Please contact Sharp Authorized Service Center.
