IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read instructions carefully before using this unit as below.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed, including the following:
WARNING - To reduce the risk of electric shock, fi re or injury :
• Use 220-240 volt outlet.
• Be sure to use the included AC adapter.
• Insert the AC adapter into the end of outlet surely.
• When you carry out the maintenance, be sure to pull out the AC adapter from the outlet.
• Periodically remove dust from the plug.
• When it thunders, stop the operation and pull out the AC adapter from the outlet.
• If a defect is generated (if you smell something burning), stop the operation and pull out
the AC adapter from the outlet.
• DO NOT damage the cord. DO NOT process, forcibly bend, pull, or twist the cord. DO
NOT place a heavy load on it or clip it.
• DO NOT remove the plug when your hands are wet.
• Many loads on the outlet is prohibited.
• DO NOT use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, or the connection to the wall
outlet is loosened.
• When you pull out the AC adapter and the plug for connecting the main unit, do not pull
the cord.
• When you carry the product, do not drop it or apply a shock to it.
• DO NOT drop drinkable water, cigarette ash, metals, or fl ammable item in the product
from air outlet or suction port.
• DO NOT operate when using aerosol insecticides or in rooms where there is oily residue,
incense, sparksfrom lit cigarettes, chemical fumes in the air, or in locations where the unit
may get wet, such as a bathroom.
• Only a Sharp Authorized Service Center should service this Plasmacluster Ion Generator.
Contact the nearest Service Center for any problems, adjustments, or repairs.
• DO NOT use the unit near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters or where it may
come into contact with steam.
• Remove the drops of water when helmet is rained.
• DO NOT use the product at the place where the water is poured or the humidity level is
high.
• DO NOT use the product at the place where is subjected to direct sunlight.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• DO NOT use the unit near gas appliances or fi replaces.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
