View Point Setup [430]

The following procedures are only available when the AV Codec is set to TRANSMITTER in the [100 MODE] menu.
To use the functions shown below, set the view point as follows.
• To use the sequential function.
• To move the combination camera to a preset position by pressing the Numeric button.
• To select a camera interlocked with an alarm activation.
• To select cameras connected to the outboard device via the trigger output port.
• To enable control cameras and outboard devices connected to the transmitter in a standby state.
During the communication, those devices at the site (transmitter) will be controlled by the control site (receiver). The trans-
mitter will control the devices at the transmitter site.
Note
The cameras connected to devices (such as switcher), that are controlled via the DATA port, cannot be selected at the
transmitter site.

Notes
• When a numeric button (from 1 to 8) of the controller
at the control site is pressed during communication,
the corresponding view point set for the remote site is
selected. When the [
pressed, the valid view points set are selected in
sequence.
• In the standby state, the same controls can be per-
formed at site (remote site).

Set the view point availability.
Move the cursor on ( ) or (–) at the left end of the item.
Then press the ENTER button to toggle the display ( ) and
(–) .
: View point is set to valid.
– : View point is set to invalid

Move the cursor to the item CAM field. Then
enter the desired camera number by pressing
the Numeric button.
Enter a camera number (1 to 5) corresponding to the
VIDEO IN connector on the rear of the AV Codec.
When the camera number is set to 1 in the CAM field, the
same preset number as the view point number is automati-
cally displayed in the PRST field. The preset number can-
not be changed by the setting.

Set trigger output availability.
This item lets you assign the trigger output terminal of the
SENSOR IN/TRIGGER OUT port on the rear of the AV
Codec.
When the cameras are connected via a device, such as a
sequential switcher, the camera images can be selected by
connecting the remote port of the device and the SENSOR
IN/TRIGGER OUT port.
Move the cursor to TRG field by pressing the Direction but-
tons. Then enter a trigger output number (1 to 8) by press-
ing the Numeric button.
