When our matrix switcher is connected:
When our matrix switcher is used in connection with the remote site, the following points should be kept in mind:
• Operation of units connected between matrix switchers should be performed through the system controller (WV-
CU550A) that is designed exclusively for matrix switchers.
• Before starting operation of the matrix switcher after the start of communication, "LOG IN" operation must be carried
out, without fail, by the use of the WV-CU550A.
• Before ending communication, "LOG OUT" operation must be carried out, without fail, by the use of the WV-CU550A.
• If the power supply for the matrix switcher is turned off and then on after the completion of communication, this opera-
tion will be impossible from the next time during communication. If operation becomes impossible, try to turn on the
power supply for the system controller.
The method of operation of the matrix switcher and system controller is described in the instruction manual for each unit.
