Cable Compensation Setup [453]

This menu lets you select the optimum setting for the cable-loss compensator with the connected camera.

Move the cursor to item 453 by pressing the

button. Then press the ENTER button.
The [453 CABLE COMPENSATION] menu appears on the
monitor screen.

Move the cursor to the desired item
parameter and select the mode by pressing
the Direction buttons.
The selected mode will be underlined in the menu when the
cursor is moved to another item parameter by pressing the
or
button.
Cable lengths expressed by the letters S, M and L are as
shown below.
S: Up to 500 m (1 600 ft)
M: 500 m (1 600 ft) to 900 m (2 900 ft)
L: 900 m (2 900 ft) to 1 200 m (4 000 ft)
When using the RG-6/U (5C-2V) or equivalent cable.

Press the ESC button to return to the
previous [450 VIDEO] menu.
