How to Scan Codes

Make sure the HE45T screen is at the Ready prompt
1.

Hold the HE45T a few inches away from a code (Figure 1–27).

Press one of the red scan buttons or the trigger on the optional

handle (Figure 1–27).
The HE45T will display data from the scanned code on its
screen (Figure 1–27).
Note: By default, data is sent to the host computer if the
HE45T is connected to it; data is stored in the HE45T's
memory if it can't be immediately sent to the host computer.

storing and sending data.
