CD player section
A CD is placed in the player but it cannot be played.
Sound is not produced.
Sound skips.
Remote control unit
Remote control operation is not possible.
Cassette deck
Sound cannot be produced by pressing the play key.
No operation occurs even when an operation key is
pressed.
The cassette holders cannot be opened by pressing
theTAPE 0 key.
Sound is harsh or high frequencies are not reproduced.
Sound is distorted.

÷ Place the disc properly, with the label side facing up-
ward.
÷ Clean the disc referring to "Disc handling precau-
tions".
÷ Refer to "Caution on condensation" and remove the
condensation by evaporation.
÷ Press the CD 6 key.
÷ Clean the disc referring to "Disc handling precau-
tions".
÷ Clean the disc referring to "Disc handling precau-
tions".
÷ Install the unit in a place not subject to vibrations.

÷ Replace with new batteries.
÷ Operate the unit inside the remote controllable range.
