Selecting characters using the
4or¢key (Skip key mode)
If "Aa" or "12" is displayed, press the 4or
¢key.
1 Press the DISPLAY/CHARAC. key repeat-
edly to select a character group.
2 Press the 4 or ¢ key to move the
selection cursor on the desired charac-
ter.
÷ Holding the 4 or ¢ key scrolls the display
so any character in the same character group
can be selected.
÷ Press the 1 or ¡ key to move the input
location (cursor) to the left or right.
P.CALL

Press the SET key to enter the selected
character.
(Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each character to be
entered.)

Title group
÷ In the "Skip key mode" for character entry, a title memo or the title of another disc/track can be copied and entered in the
same way as the entry of alphabet characters.

The character group which can be used in the "skip
key mode" are as follows.
Uppercase alphabet group
A to Z and space (1 blank character)
Lowercase alphabet group
a to z and space
Numeral and symbol group
0 to 9, space and symbols
Title group
Title memos ([123]), disc title and track titles
Example with an MD title
The cursor moves and waits for input of the next
character.
