In the When Limit is Reached area, specify the action that occurs when the traffic
counter limit is reached.
•
Block All Traffic: Choose this option to block all traffic to and from the WAN
when the traffic limit is reached.
•
Block All Traffic Except E-mail: Choose this option to block all traffic to and
from the WAN except email traffic.
If traffic metering is enabled, the Internet Traffic Statistics area displays the
following information:
•
Start Date/Time: The date on which the traffic meter was started or the last
time when the traffic counter was reset.
•
Outgoing Traffic Volume: It is the volume of traffic, in Megabytes, that was
uploaded through this interface.
•
Incoming Traffic Volume: The volume of traffic, in Megabytes, that was
downloaded through this interface.
•
Total Traffic Volume: The amount of traffic, in Megabytes, that passed
through this interface in both directions.
•
Average per day: The average volume of traffic that passed through this
interface.
•
% of Standard Limit: The amount of traffic, in percent that passed through
this interface against the Monthly Limit.
•
% of Monthly Limit: The amount of traffic, in percent that passed through
this interface against this Month's Limit (if the month's limit has been
increased).
You can configure your time zone, whether or not to adjust for Daylight Savings
Time, and with which Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to synchronize the date
and time. The security appliance then gets its date and time information from the
NTP server. Please follow the steps below to configure NTP and time settings:
