Developing C# (C sharp) or Visual Basic.net Applications

1. Download and install Windows CE Utilities for Visual Studio .NET 2003, available
from http://www.microsoft.com/. For specific details about using this toolkit, refer to
the Readme.htm file available from the same website as the toolkit.
2. Download and install the Compact Frame work add on, available from
http://www.microlise.com/VRC8900. To install the add on:
a. Transfer it onto your VRC8900 using active sync, and place it in the
'\FLASHFX\CAB' folder.
b. Cold boot the terminal. The compact frame work add on is installed without
deleting the original cab file.

Developing C++ Applications

Download and install the Embedded Visual C SDK, available from
http://www.microlise.com/VRC8900. To install the SDK, double-click on the downloaded file
and follow the on screen installation instructions as required. In order to ensure proper
installation, do not change the default installation directory.
