The Server field should contain the URL of the server, including the port, in the following
format: " streamingserver.example.com:8000"
The Mount Point field (for Icecast 2 servers) should contain the mount point on the server,
in t he f ollowing f ormat: " /example1.mp3" f ollowing t he s erver n ame.
Enabling the Allow Public Listing control sets the "public listing allowed" flag in the stream,
as d etermined b y t he s erver.
The URL field is a metadata field whose information is sent to the server to be (potentially)
displayed i n t he l istings a nd p layer. T he U RL i s t ypically t he s tation's o fficial h ome p age.
The U ser N ame f ield c ontains t he u ser ( log-­‐in) n ame f or t he s erver.
The P assword f ield c ontains t he p assword f or t he s erver.
The G enre f ield i s a lso a m etadata f ield. T he t ype o r s tyle o f c ontent f ound o n t he s tream i s
typically e ntered h ere.
The Apply Immediately control determines whether any changes you make to the server
settings t ake e ffect i mmediately.
