Enabling t he S RC c ontrol a llows t he c lient s oftware t o d ynamically a djust t he s ample r ate o f t he
client p layback. I f y ou a re e xperiencing i nterruptions o r d ropouts t o t he c lient a udio s tream,
enabling S RC w ill r esult i n a s teadier c onnection, t hough a t a s light c ost t o C PU u sage. R egardless,
the c lient s oftware w ill a utomatically d etermine w hether t o s tream c lient a udio i n a l inear
(uncompressed) P CM f ormat o r i n t he V orbis f ormat, w hich w hile c ompressed, c an s till p rovide
excellent a udio q uality.
