Each   of   Omnia.9's   three   configurable   internal   inputs   can   be   fed   from   any   of   the   physical  
rear-­‐panel   inputs   by   using   the   drop-­‐down   menus   for   each   Input   Source   as   appropriate   for  
your   i nstallation.      
 
In   t urn,   e ach   p rocessing   c ore   i s   f ed   f rom   o ne   o f   O mnia.9's   t hree   i nternal   i nput   s ources.     T he  
FM,  HD-­‐1,  Stream  1,  and  Studio  processing  cores  are  fed  from  Input  1.    HD-­‐2  and  Stream  2  
are   f ed   f rom   I nput   2 ,   w hile   H D-­‐3   a nd   S tream   3   a re   f ed   f rom   I nput   3 .    
 
Connect  the  audio  outputs  as  appropriate  for  your  installation.    Omnia.9  supports  balanced  
professional   l ine-­‐level   a nalog   a udio   o utputs   v ia   i ts   L eft   a nd   R ight   O utputs   i n   t he   M ain   A nalog  
I/O   s ection   o f   t he   r ear   p anel,   t wo   A ES/EBU   d igital   o utputs   o n   s tandard   X LR   c onnectors   i n   t he  
Main  Digital  I/O  section,  an  additional  digital  output  in  the  Aux  Digital  I/O  section,  and  two  
composite   M PX   o utputs   i n   t he   C omposite   I /O   s ection.  
 
  R eturn   to   the   I/O   Options   menu,   then   select   Output   Options.   Drop-­‐down   menus   are  
provided   t o   a ssign   t he   o utputs   a nd   s et   t he   l evels   o f   t he   M ain   F M   O ut   1 ,   M ain   F M   O ut   2 ,   A ux  
Out,   and   Analog   Out   jacks   on   the   rear   panel.     Output   audio   choices   include   FM   Pre-­‐
emphasized   L/R,   FM   De-­‐emphasized   L/R,   HD-­‐1,   HD-­‐2,   HD-­‐3,   Headphone   Out,   and   Speaker  
Out.  
 
A  complete  explanation  of  these  controls  can  be  found  in  the  System  Menu  section  of  the  
Home   M enu.  
  N ote:    FM  De-­‐emphasized  L/R  is  suitable  for  monitoring  only.  Feeding  to  a  stereo  generator  which  
provides   pre-­‐emphasis   will   work,   but   it   WILL   cause   overshoots   and   you   WILL   lose   loudness.   The  
Omnia.9   should   be   the   ONLY   device   providing   the   FM   Pre-­‐Emphasis.   Any   pre-­‐emphasis   in   the   FM  
Exciter/Transmitter   s hould   b e   d efeated.
