When   the  dynamics  detector  falls  below   a  certain  level,   expansion  will  begin,   starting   at   a
minimum   ratio   of   1:1   and   increasing   to   a   maximum   ratio   of   4:1.     The   point   at   which   that

The   relative   point   at   which   the   expansion   reaches   its   full   4:1   ratio   is   determined   by   the

The   detected   amount   of   dynamics   in   each   band   is   indicated   in   the   Dynamics   meters.     Taller   bars
indicate   more   inherent   dynamics   in   the   music,   while   shorter   bars   indicate   less   dynamics   and   are

Each   band   of   Undo's   expander   has   a   corresponding   density   detector.     The   Density   Detector   Band
Weighting  controls  allow  you  to  determine  how  much  control  each  detector  provides  its  own  band
as   well   as   any   other   expander   band.       To   put   this   concept   into   traditional   processing   terms,   it   is
similar   to   "band   coupling"   in   a   multiband   compressor,   where   all   bands   may   operate   completely
independently   o f   o ne   a nother   o r   m ay   i nfluence   o ne   a nother   b y   w ay   o f   c oupling   t o   v arying   d egrees.
