Problem
I can't access
COMMAND
CENTER.
Characters do not
display correctly in
COMMAND
CENTER.
ADVANCED OPERATION GUIDE
If problems occurs with COMMAND CENTER, carry out the applicable
checkpoints and procedures indicated in the following tables. If the
problem persists, contact your Service Representative or Authorized
Service Center.
Checkpoint
Is the power switched on?
Is the network cable
correctly connected?
Are the network settings
that are made in this
machine correct?
Is the IP address for this
machine entered
correctly?
Are the LAN (Local Area
Network) settings that are
made in your browser
application correct?
Has the administrator set
up an IP Filter function?
The SNMP Read
Community settings
function as passwords to
control read and write
access to the device via
SNMP.
Does the version of your
browser application
support COMMAND
CENTER?
Does the version of your
browser application
support COMMAND
CENTER?
Procedure
Switch on the power, wait until it is
in a ready state, and try to access
COMMAND CENTER.
Connect the network cable
correctly.
Perform the network settings from
the operation panel. Contact your
Network Administrator for
information on the appropriate
settings.
Enter the correct IP address.
Check with your Network
Administrator to make sure the
correct IP address has been
designated for this machine.
Check the settings made in your
browser application. For details,
refer to the Help function in your
browser application.
Access COMMAND CENTER from
an approved IP address.
Access COMMAND CENTER from
an approved Read Community.
Use a browser application that
supports the COMMAND CENTER.
