Print another nozzle check pattern. If the pattern is broken, missing, or a
specific color is not printed, perform a deep printhead cleaning.
To perform a normal printhead cleaning from the printer driver:

With the printer on, click S S t t a a r r t t , then S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s , then P P r r i i n n t t e e r r s s .
Right-click the Canon F50 icon, then select P P r r o o p p e e r r t t i i e e s s .
Select the M M a a i i n n t t e e n n a a n n c c e e tab, then click the H H e e a a d d C C l l e e a a n n i i n n g g button. The printer
will clean the printhead.

Print another nozzle check pattern. If the pattern is broken, missing or a
specific color is not printed, perform a deep printhead cleaning. If you have
performed a deep printhead cleaning and the nozzle check pattern is still not
correct, refer to the Troubleshooting section for additional information.
Close status monitor

Click on the top right corner of the window to close the Status Monitor, then
click O O K K to close the P P r r o o p p e e r r t t i i e e s s window.

Aligning the Printhead

When you install a new printhead or replace an old printhead, you will need to
align the position of the printhead before printing.
Several sheets of paper are required to align the printhead.
To align the printhead from the control panel:
