Gas Spring for CIS Unit

*Switch Scanner off and disconnect from power source and PC prior to any repair.
Remove LHS cover, see page 4-9
Click open CIS Unit so it stand in a vertical position.

*Switch Scanner off and disconnect from power source and PC prior to any repair.
Remove RHS cover, see page 4-5

Part replacement MG52D
1. Loosen screws.
2. Release pressure on Gas Spring.
3. Remove Screws.
4. Remove Gas Spring.
Replace Gas Spring and reverse the steps.
1. Disconnect ribbon cable.
2. Release lock and pull out flex cable.
3. Remove screws.
Replace Interconnection Board and reverse
steps.
