4. Press and hold the
flashing.
5. Point the camera at a white or neutral gray card in the
light source under which you will be taking pictures. It
does not have to focus on the card; it can just be pointed
at the card so that it fills the frame.
6. Press the
photographing the white card. The shutter will fire, but
nothing will appear on the Monitor.
7. Check the

operation was not successful. Your available light may
not be bright enough to take an accurate reading.
The PRE measurement is very sensitive since it uses the light
coming through the lens to set the WB. Unless you are
measuring in an extremely low-light level, it will virtually
always be successful.
